Hi Dafna,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am thrilled that you brought this delicious dining question to us!
Luckily, there are a number of character meals at the Walt Disney World resort. Given the ages of your little ones, I suggest
Chef Mickey's,
Tusker House,
'Ohana and
The Garden Grill. Although characters are subject to change, at Chef Mickey's you all could dance with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Donald Duck and Goofy. At Tusker House they could hug Safari Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Mickey Mouse. If you dine during breakfast at 'Ohana, Lilo and Stitch host the party and at The Garden Grill, Chip 'n' Dale lead their friends around to greet guests.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse are definitely a favorite of our girls, so we always go to Chef Mickey's. But there is plenty of fun to be had at any character meal. If you decide to visit Chef Mickey's, remember to take the resort monorail from Magic Kingdom. It adds another layer of adventure to your journey, especially if you are not staying at a resort with monorail access!
I will add that we also consider other activities when selecting a character meal. We do pre-park opening dining reservations at Hollywood & Vine so that we can get into Disney's Hollywood Studios early to sign-up for Jedi Training and we do a pre-park opening reservation at The Crystal Palace so that we can enter Magic Kingdom before the crowds!
Whatever you do Dafna, remember to take photos and bring autograph books!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
