Hello Alina,
First and foremost, I'd like to wish your little one a very magical early birthday! Walt Disney World is an awesome place to celebrate any occasion, but birthdays are sure to be some of the most memorable.
I have two recommendations for a fantastic character meal. My first is
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort. We celebrated our niece's birthday a couple of years ago and since this location has a colorful and festive feel, it was perfect! Mickey Mouse and his gang are all there greeting guests and creating treasured memories. We also ordered a custom cake from the Walt Disney World cake hotline at (407) 827-2253. In order to be customized and ready for you at your dining location, you must call at least 72 hours in advance. These are available in a variety of sizes, designs and prices. You can also let the cast member at the podium know about the birthday upon arrival and a cake can be added to your meal. However, it will not be customized.
My other favorite place to celebrate is breakfast or lunch at
Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Your child will have a blast meeting and dancing along with his or her favorite characters from Disney Junior, including Jake the Neverland Pirate, Sofia the First, and Doc McStuffins. The atmosphere is definitely lively and fun and the buffet is full of kid favorites! Keep in mind that characters are not available at this location for dinner.
Don't forget to ask for a birthday button upon arrival at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel or at guest services at any of the theme parks. Have your child wear this button proudly and you'll be amazed at the special attention he or she will receive throughout your trip!
Best wishes for an extraordinary trip!
