Bonjour Patricia! It is with deepest pride that we welcome you to planDisney with such a fun question. Whether it's recommending
soup du jour or hot hors d'oeuvres, at planDisney, we only live to serve. We love talking about our favorite foods, but as a Gigi to two preschool granddaughters, I REALLY love talking about the fun my girls have at character dining. So let's pull up a chair as we proudly present........ your answer!
I must confess, I'm having a hard time choosing just one favorite! I love them all! Character breakfast meals are always a must-do for our family. So, let me share the preferences of my three-year-old and six-year-old granddaughters, which, of course, I wholeheartedly agree with.
For atmosphere, there is nothing like the magical moment you step into the Cinderella Castle and dine as a royal Guest at
Cinderella's Royal Table. It's magical for girls, boys, and grown-ups alike, and I guarantee, it is a breakfast you will never forget.
When it comes to food, I say, "hip, hip, Pooh-ray" for
The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom. The characters from the Hundred Acre Wood are incredibly huggable. At breakfast, this is the only place in Walt Disney World where you can enjoy the amazing, sugary, and famous Mickey Churro Waffles! These waffles are popular for a reason, and if you haven't tried one, you are missing out! This bright and beautiful restaurant, with its large glass windows, always makes us feel happy, and the buffet is full of variety.
When it comes to a breakfast that feels like a party,
Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club is our top choice. The food is fantastic and offers a wide variety of options. One highlight is the Salted Caramel "Beach Buns" with vanilla cream—Oh my goodness, Patricia, they are delicious! What my girls enjoy most is the time spent with Minnie, Daisy, Goofy, and Donald. They love it when the beach party music plays, because it means it's time for them to get out of their seats and dance with the characters. The only thing missing from this breakfast is Mickey Mouse, but this still wins for one of our top favorites.
Patricia, while these may be our top three picks, it doesn't mean the other options aren't just as wonderful. I recommend having fun looking over
the entire list of character dining options to see what looks best for you. You really can't go wrong with any of the choices!
