What is the best way to carry your things through the parks? My usual solution for theme parks is either a small backpack or cargo pants. Are these practical solutions at Disney World?

    Hi Lindsey!

I'm so excited to help you get ready for your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You will love the magic of the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs during the holiday season. My family and I enjoyed a holiday vacation last year and it was so incredible.

One of the things I have found that helps make a good theme park day is the right method to carry all of your belongings comfortably. I've enjoyed many trips to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, both with and without my kids, and I know that having the right bag can make a huge difference!

My favorite theme park bag is a backpack. I like to use a backpack that has comfortable shoulder straps and a pocket for my water bottle. (Since I have two little ones, my backpack must have two pockets so we can carry both of their bottles.) I also like a variety of pockets for organization. Finally, you don't want your backpack to be too big as backpacks must be smaller than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61cm x 38cm x 46cm). I have carried a backpack for several years that I first spotted at Vera Bradley at Disney Springs and it has been a fantastic park bag! In fact, I have worn through my first one and I'm getting another one now!

There are definitely other options that can work really well. My husband often carries his things in the pockets of his cargo pants. For me, that's not quite enough room to bring everything I like to have with me. If I don't have my kids with me, I often bring a small crossbody bag to minimize the things I need to carry and keep my hands free. All of these options will help you have a fantastic visit to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
