What is the best Candelight Processional Dinner pkg? What restaurants participate? This will be a mother-daughter (16) trip

Hello Stacey and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The Candlelight Processional is a beautiful way to celebrate the holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort. A celebrity narrator, a mass choir of 200+ singers, and a 50 piece come together to provide a stirring telling of the traditional Christmas story.

Typically, it becomes possible to reserve a Candlelight Processional Dining Package in mid-summer. In 2018, the reservations opened in mid-July. Until it gets closer to that date, we won't have a specific listing of the participating dining locations. In past years nearly all table service dining locations (excluding signature dining locations) within Epcot offers packages. Recently options at nearby Disney Resort hotels were offered as well.

Which one is best? Well, that is a difficult question! If you and your daughter enjoy the characters, I would suggest either Akershus Royal Banquet Hall where you can dine like royalty with royalty as princesses stop by your table or The Garden Grill Restaurant where Chip 'n' Dale are your hosts. Otherwise, let your taste buds be your guide! Nearly any favorite cuisine will be available including Italian at Tutto Italia Ristorante, seafood at Coral Reef Restaurant, and Japanese at Teppan Edo. Last year 17 delicious locations were available. You really can't go wrong!

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Anne, Iowa

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother.  One of my favorite things to do is to travel with multi-generational groups. I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
