    Where is the best building to stay at in Port Orleans Riverside to avoid long walks to the bus, restaurant and pool?

    Hi Jody!

         Port Orleans Riverside is my favorite Moderate Resort!  However, as you pointed out, it is quite spread out and certain areas are a LONG walk to the food court and shopping area.  The closest building to all of the action is Oak Manor, which is part of the Magnolia Bend area.  Magnolia Bend rooms are housed in buildings that truly look like mansions - they just ooze Southern charm! 

           If you are looking for more of a rustic feel, head over to the Alligator Bayou section in Buildings 14, 15, or 18.  It is important to note that there are not any elevators in Alligator Bayou, but they can actually house 5 people, thanks to a trundle bed.  Also, there are a total of four bus stops in the Riverside area and no room is more than a four to five minute walk to the closest stop.
