Greetings Enrique! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're so happy you're here with your planning question, and it is my pleasure to assist you.
I'm excited to hear you will be vacationing at
Disney's Old Key West Resort. It is one of my family's favorite places to stay at Walt Disney World; we love the spacious villas and the relaxed vibe of the resort. After our first stay here, we officially became Disney Vacation Club Members!
While there are many lovely views throughout Disney's Old Key West Resort, I will share some of my favorites. If you have booked a room in the Near Hospitality House category, I suggest requesting a villa in the Peninsular Road section of the resort. Buildings 23-26 offer scenic views of the golf course and water, and are located adjacent to the bus stop that is first for pick ups and drop offs from the theme parks. These vacation homes are also in close proximity to the
water craft transportation to Disney Springs. The tranquil, charming boat ride to Disney Springs is a perfect activity for a day outside of the theme parks.
If you have not booked in the Near Hospitality House category, there are some excellent options with a variety of scenery. My children enjoy watching the boats bound for
Disney Springs along the Sassagoula River from buildings 45, 46, and 55 in the South Point region. Another convenient location with lovely views is the Turtle Pond area, specifically buildings 31-37 which offer views of both the golf course and ponds. The Turtle Pond area also has its own quick service location that is open seasonally. A guest not visiting the theme parks will have easy access to snacks, light meals, and a mug refill station at
Turtle Shack Poolside Snacks.
No matter where you stay at Disney's Old Key West Resort, rest assured you will have a peaceful view from your spacious patio or balcony. If there is anything else we can help with as your vacation approaches, please come back and see us again. Before you know it, you'll be hearing those enchanting words, "Welcome home!"
Wishing you magic and memories,
Betsy
