Best building at Sports for handicapped person walking to bus

Welcome to planDisney, Teresa! Your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is quickly approaching, and you've made a great choice to stay at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel for your trip, putting you right in the middle of all the magic! Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is one of my favorite resorts; its playful theming makes you feel like you're a part of the team!

My top recommendation for staying here with mobility concerns would be to book a preferred room over a standard room, which will put you in a building located closer to Stadium Hall, the central hub for the food court, front desk, and lobby area of the resort. The bus stop for All-Star Sports is located just outside of this building, and the buildings closest to this, and those considered preferred room locations, are buildings 1 and 6 (Surf's Up!) and buildings 7 and 10 (Touchdown!). While you can request a particular building ahead of your stay, requests are not guaranteed; however, all of these building choices will put you closer to the bus transportation!

Teresa, having traveled with my parents who also have limited mobility, they choose to rent ECVs that can delivered directly to the resort to help them get around with less worry and exhaustion. There are many companies that offer resort delivery, including Disney's preferred partner Scooter Bug, and the Disney buses, monorails, and Skyliner can all accommodate these scooters efficiently, making it convenient to utilize them throughout Disney property with little to no hassle!

Don't forget to also check out all of the benefits of staying at a Disney Resort Hotel - including Early Theme Park Entry, my favorite! If you're planning to take advantage of that extra time, the buses will start running at least 45 minutes ahead of that, and with your preferred room location, you just might find yourself at the head of the line! And one last tip on that note - you can check the bus wait times from the Hotel Reservations button in the My Disney Experience mobile app before you head out for your day! This feature has become one of my favorites to help us spend less time waiting for buses and more time in the parks!

I hope this has been helpful, Teresa, and I'm wishing you a magical visit! Be sure to spend some time in EPCOT to enjoy the springtime magic at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and the new nighttime spectacular Luminous The Symphony of Us! It's a great time to visit; we'll see you real soon!

    Magic Awaits,
