Hi, Jan! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Your choice of
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels is practically perfect in every way! With its elegant atmosphere, delicious
dining options, and convenient
monorail access,
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of my favorite resort hotels. In my opinion, one of the best perks of staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the breathtaking view of
Magic Kingdom Park.
In order to guarantee that your room at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is located in a spot that will give you a view of the fireworks, you would need to book a room in the "Theme Park View" category. There are other areas of the resort that you can catch a glimpse of Magic Kingdom Park from, but there is no guarantee that you will have a clear view to enjoy the fireworks. If you wish to discuss a room request with a Cast Member, you can call the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations Line. Please be aware that Cast Members cannot guarantee room requests, but they will certainly do their best to accommodate you.
Jan, the good news is that even if your resort hotel room does not provide a clear view of the skies above
Cinderella Castle, the beaches at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are just a short walk from your room and are a great place for fireworks viewing. From your spot on the beach, you might even be able to take in the sights and sounds of the
Electrical Water Pageant as it floats by.
While you can't beat the convenience of enjoying the fireworks from your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, if you can fit it into your schedule, I would also suggest taking in the
Happily Ever After Fireworks once from inside Magic Kingdom Park as well. The projections on Cinderella Castle are such a spectacular part of the show that they are worth an up-close view.
Wishing you a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Samantha
