Best building at Caribbean Beach to stay in near a pool, closest to dining (not preferred)? Can you get a refrigerator in your room? Looking to book our next vacay, never stayed here before. Want to try something new! Thanks

    Hi Brandy,

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a great Moderate Resort hotel choice, in fact I will be checking in with my family next week.  Recently the Resort has undergone room refurbishments and it is more beautiful than ever!  You will be happy to know that each Resort hotel room at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort comes equipped with a small (dormitory sized) refrigerator as part of its standard amenities.

If you are hoping to be located near Old Port Royale food court and the Fuentes del Morro Pool area, then my recommendation is to request a room in either Jamaica 45 building or Aruba 51 building.  Both of these buildings are close to the Caribbean Cay bridge and are not considered "preferred" buildings.  However your requests are just that - requests, and as such are not guaranteed.  The only way to guarantee a room close to the food court and main themed pool is to book a preferred room.

You should know that each village has its own quiet pool and you do not have to go very far to find a pool no matter which village you are staying in.  Although not elaborately themed like the Fuentes del Morro Pool, they are still great pools.  Additionally because this Resort is large there is an internal bus system circulating to transport you if you do not wish to walk.  To have a better idea of the layout of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort you might want to try an internet search for a map for it.  Many unofficial fan sites have maps posted which can be helpful in understanding the layout of the Resort prior to your arrival.

Thank you for your question Brandy and please let us know if we can answer any further Disney vacation planning questions.

    Have a Disney Day!
