Hi Whitney! Welcome to planDisney!
I can't imagine a more magical time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort than during the holiday season! With many of the theme parks and Disney Resorts hotels decked out in festive decor, there is no shortage of places to visit during this time.
The first dining location that popped into my head when thinking of the perfect place to enjoy a delicious breakfast on Christmas Day is
Grand Floridian Cafe. They currently offer a brunch menu that has a great combination of savory and sweet choices. This way, if some Guests in your party prefer lunch-style items, they will have options as well. The show stopper here is the main lobby at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The entire lobby is typically decorated with a
life-size gingerbread house on display. They even sell holiday treats directly from the house. While this experience has not been announced for this upcoming year, I have my fingers crossed that it will make a return.
Another fantastic restaurant to try on Christmas Day would be
Boma - Flavors of Africa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. This is a buffet-style meal that offers an authentic take on classic breakfast options. You'll try a few flavor profiles that represent a variety of African countries. Again, the main lobby is decked out with a larger-than-life Christmas tree at the center with various other decorations surrounding it all. You'll be instantly transported into the holiday spirit once you step through the doors.
Whitney, there is no shortage of amazing places to check out during the holiday season. Disney's Wilderness Lodge is another one that comes to mind with the giant fireplace and large tree that overtake the main lobby.
Whispering Canyon Cafe is located here and offers a delicious breakfast menu.
Happy planning!
