Greetings Amanda, and welcome to
planDisney! It's almost time to assemble your crew for some fall fun at the
Disneyland Resort.
You're going to have so much fun enjoying the theme parks with a large group, and sitting down for a few meals is a great way to spend time together. I just recently visited with extended family, and even though we split up a lot during the day, we had dinner as a group most nights. It was a fun and relaxing way to recap our adventures and discuss the next day's itinerary.
With a party of 9, you'll want to have two people in your group make
dining reservations for the same time or within 15-30 minutes of one another. If 10 of the
Avengers want to dine with Minnie Mouse and friends at the
Plaza Inn, for example, Spider-Man should make a reservation for 5 superheroes at 9:00, and Thor should make another one for a party of 5 for any available time between 8:45 and 9:15. When they check in, they'll let the Cast Member know they'd like to sit as close together as possible.
My family of 10 had two or three reservations for each of our meals during our vacation, and we tried to coordinate times as best we could. My mom, my sister, and I each made reservations, and when we arrived at a restaurant, we requested tables near each other and were successful nearly every time. You might have a better chance for more seating options if you reserve the earliest time in a meal period. Best wishes finding tables and times that work for you!
I hope you have a fantastic fall getaway, Amanda! Be sure to review
the latest health and safety updates and download the latest version of the
Disneyland app before you go. Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and have a magical day!
