Where is the best 2 bedroom villa at Kidani village location i can request to be close to elevators pool and food .Ikeep reading horror stories about really far walks . We are a large party 9 , and 2 of us are handicapped , couldnt manage room at farthest

    Hello, Neil!

We've stayed in a two-bedroom at Animal Kingdom's Kidani Village recently and our room was a very far walk from the lobby.  The best way to describe the walk is to compare it to the walk from a bus stop (at, for example, Old Key West Resort or Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa) to your room; however, this walk is entirely indoors.  The plus side is that it's air-conditioned and you are out of the elements (rain, sun, etc.).  The downside is that many villas are located quite far from the lobby.

When I booked our three-bedroom at Kidani Village for this summer, I asked the Cast Member at Disney Vacation Club Member Services how I can manage to be closer to the lobby (we, too, will have two adults with us with mobility issues.)  I was sure to have it noted on my reservation that we have two adults with difficulty walking and was told that we should request a room closest to the lobby and elevators.

Depending on how you booked your villa, speak to someone about your concerns with your villa location (DVC Member Services, if you're a Member, Disney Reservations, if you booked directly with Disney or even your Travel Agent). Be sure that your reservation notes that guests in your party are handicapped, and will need closer access to elevators as well as to the lobby. Hopefully, this will ensure that you'll get the best location for your party.

Please send me more questions about your upcoming stay at Kidani Village! I'd love to help!
