What is the best way to assure that you will get a close room to the lobby in in either Port Orleans moderate resort? I have bad knees and it would be best for me not to have to walk too too far if I can avoid it .

Hi Sheri, you don't mention if you'll be staying at Riverside or French Quarter.  If staying at Riverside, the rooms closest to the main building and main bus stop are now preferred rooms so you will need to pay a little more for the convenience.  On top of that, you may want to add a note to your reservation indicating you'd like to be as close to the main building as possible due to bad knees.  If being on the first floor is important to you, also add that note.

Port Orleans French Quarter is a smaller resort so there won't be as much walking.  However, if you are staying here, you can add a similar note to your reservation.

Please know that requests can not be guaranteed but cast members will do what they can to accommodate your request whenever possible.

Enjoy your visit to Port Orleans!  Diane
