The best way to ask for a free upgrade is during normal check in with a sweet smile, an understanding attitude and very polite inquiry! My family has lucked out and received a free upgrade before so we always ask hoping for that Magic to happen again, but alas, we have only been lucky that one time! So, while it is rare that you will receive that Free upgrade, it can happen and never hurts to ask. The best way to ask for a free upgrade is during normal check in with a sweet smile, an understanding attitude and very polite inquiry!

My family has lucked out and received a free upgrade before so we always ask hoping for that Magic to happen again, but alas, we have only been lucky that one time!

So, while it is rare that you will receive that Free upgrade, it can happen and never hurts to ask.
