Best all around resort for family of six (kids age 10, 8, 1, 1): Yacht Club, Beach Club, or Boardwalk?

    Hi Erin,

Thanks for writing!  All three of these resorts rank near the top of our "favorites" list!  As you know, they share an outstanding location along Disney's Boardwalk, and are both within walking distance of two of the four main theme parks (Epcot and Hollywood Studios).  Their location alone makes them a fantastic choice.  In addition, the Boardwalk area has some fabulous dining and entertainment options that are sure to round out a perfect trip!

If I absolutely had to chose, I'd vote for the Beach Club.  Here's why.  The Beach Club and Yacht Club both share what I think is THE best pool at Disney, Stormalong Bay (it's actually a mini-water park, with a great slide and amazing sandy-bottom children's pool).  The Yacht Club's decor is a bit more formal than the Beach Club, so I'd pick the later for smaller children.   Plus, Cape May Cafe (the home of one of our favorite Character Breakfasts) is located at the Beach Club, and being able to "roll out of bed" to breakfast with Minnie and her pals is a great plus!

Honestly, you can't do wrong with any of these fabulous properties!

    Have a wonderful trip!
