Best argument for or against Disney transportation (in June) versus car rental (parking,etc.). I know the panel has mixed opinions on this. I am on a "moderate" budget, but I want to make the most of our magical time!! Thanks!

    Hi Susan,

We are a family that uses Disney transportation exclusively, and we never leave a trip feeling like we missed anything -- and that includes traveling between Christmas Day and New Year's Eve (the busiest week at WDW!).  For me, knowing that we had saved a chunk of money that we could use elsewhere while at WDW was like a great bonus for us to have a chance to eat at some restaurants we probably wouldn't have otherwise or provide our sons with a chance to do something like the Pirate Cruise at the Grand Floridian.

Also, I like losing the stress of loading everyone into a car, checking seat belts/booster seats, and reading signs making sure we were driving the right way.  We can all sit and talk together on the bus/monorail/boat rather than concentrating on things like stop lights and signs.

If we ever really feel like we are in a pinch to get from one place to another, we know we can always opt to take a taxi.

I hope it helps to give you a perspective from the fan of Disney transportation!
