What is the best way to get from AoA to the Polynesian luau? Bus to HS and then Pol? Bus to MK and then monorail? We were at WDW in 11/12 but it has been 15yrs since I was at the Polynesian so I don't remember where on the property the luau is. Thanks!

    Hi Melanie,

From the Art of Animation resort, the easiest way to get to the Polynesian using Walt Disney World's free transportation is to take the bus to Magic Kingdom and then transfer to the resort monorail. The Polynesian will be the third stop after the Contemporary and the Transportation and Ticket Center.

Luau Cove, site of the Spirit of Aloha dinner show, is just a short walk from the monorail stop. You will see signs pointing the way, or ask any cast member for directions.

If you decide to head straight for the Polynesian from Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom or Downtown Disney, you can catch a bus directly to the resort.

Be sure to allow at least an houran hour and a half to  to make the journey. The bus ride from Art of Animation to Magic Kingdom takes about 20 minutes. The buses depart about every 20 minutes.

If you get to the Polynesian early, it's a beautiful spot to enjoy the scenery and relax for a few minutes before the show.

Have a wonderful time, and thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Please let us know if we can do anything else to help.
