What would be the best way to get from Animal Kingdom to Epcot in the same day. We want to start at AK and end the day at Epcot with dinner and fireworks.

Hello Ronald!  There a few options to choose from to get from the Animal Kingdom to Epcot.

I would get a bus from Animal Kingdom to the Beach Club resort. From the Beach Club, you can either take a boat or walk to the International Gateway at Epcot. The walk is less than 10 minutes, and is usually quicker than the boat. The International Gateway enters into the World Showcase between France and the United Kingdom. I think this would be the quickest way to go. If you bus to another resort, you will have to wait for the Epcot bus which could take anywhere from a few to twenty minutes.

If you bus to one of the monorail resorts - Grand Floridian, Contemporary or Polynesian, you could take the monorail to the Transportation & Ticket Center. From the TTC, you will have to switch monorails to get to Epcot where the monorail will drop you off at the front of the park.

You could also wait for the TTC bus at Animal Kingdom and monorail to Epcot. Depending on how crowded it is, the walk from the Beach Club is comparable and maybe quicker than the monorail.

I would think about what you will want to do when you arrive at Epcot. If you plan to have dinner in the World Showcase, coming in through the International Gateway would put you much closer to where you want to be than entering from the front of the park.

I hope this helps! Have a wonderful vacation!
