    What is the best way to get from Animal Kingdom to Downtown Disney Rainforest Café for dinner. Does a bus run from the All Star Music resort to Downtown Disney?

    Hi Gail!

    Disney's transportation system is a great and efficient way to maneuver around Walt Disney World and the best part it's free!  The buses at Walt Disney World run from resorts to parks, but not from resorts to resorts or parks to parks.  Keeping this in mind, usually the best way is to leave one park to reach another park is to take the bus with a resort close to your destination.  If you are traveling during a busy time of year, sometimes it is best to board a bus with the shortest line to minimize your wait time.

    For reaching Downtown Disney from Animal Kingdom,there are numerous ways you can do this.  I would suggest taking the bus from Animal Kingdom to Saratoga Springs Resort and get off at the Congress Park Stop.  From there you can either walk to Downtown Disney or take the ferry, walking is sometimes a much quicker option depending on the wait for the ferry.  Yes, there is a bus that runs between All-Star Music and Downtown Disney, these buses will typically run from around 8:30 am until 2:00 am.  Just be aware that the All-Star resorts do share buses sometimes and All-Star Music resort is usually the second to be picked up and dropped off when sharing.
