What is the best Animal Encounter in the Animal Kingdom for a 13 year old that has an interest in animals?

    Hi Jeanne,

Thank you for stopping by today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Let me help you with some planning tips to make your vacation the best one ever.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park has some amazing experiences that will bring you closer to Mother Nature. Still on my bucket list for next year is Wild Africa Trek, where you can experience some close encounters with some of the most exotic African wildlife, and also get to enjoy some delicious African eats. Reservations are highly recommended by calling (407) WDW-TOUR or (407) 939-8687.

Another option that I had the opportunity to experience recently and I LOVED, was Caring for Giants. In this one-hour adventure, you will get a closer look at the elephants while learning about the care and wellness of the heard. Reservations are recommended by calling (407) 939-7529 or (407) WDW-PLAY.

One last tip: remember to book FastPass+ reservations 30 days in advance, unless you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, which will let you book them 60 days before your Check-In. See you real soon!
