    3? What is the best way to get from AK to GF resort? From Chef Mickey's to AK? From MK to Backyard BBQ? I've been counting down until our trip for about 180 days, only 52 more to go!! Don't know what to do without the Mom's (&Dads) panel. Thanks,

    Hi there Penny!

    I love Disney transportation questions.  You've come to the right place!

    1.  To get from Disney's Animal Kingdom to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, simply hop on a bus headed to the Grand Floridian at the front of the theme park.

    2.  To get from Chef Mickey's to Disney's Animal Kingdom, take an Animal Kingdom-bound bus from the front of Disney's Contemporary Resort. 

    3.  To get to Mickey's Backyard BBQ, board a Fort Wilderness-bound boat at the front of the Magic Kingdom.  Once you disembark your boat at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, you are just a short walk from the BBQ pavilion.  Just follow the signs or ask the Cast Member driving your watercraft to point you in the right direction.
