Hi, there!
Welcome back to planDisney, Linda. We are just delighted to help you plan your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It's the very best kind if you ask me.
I live in Pennsylvania, so I know how hard it can be to travel from the Northeast to Orlando, especially with
small kiddos! One thing you don't need to worry about on your arrival date is transportation to your Disney Resort hotel from the Orlando International Airport. In my experience, the easiest, most convenient, and most budget-friendly way to get from the airport to a Disney Resort hotel is with Mears Connect. Their standard service offers shared shuttle transportation with minimal wait time and limited stops. What I most appreciate about Mears Connect motorcoach service as a mom is that I don't need car seats! My little one can sit comfortably on my lap or on the seat next to me. Booking Mears Connect is super easy! Simply visit the Mears Connect website and follow the prompts to arrange for round trip service. I think you'll be pleased to find that children under the age of 3 ride free on standard service!
You may also want to consider The Sunshine Flyer. This is another motorcoach option available to Guests of Disney Resort hotels! I haven't used this new service myself (yet!), but the locomotive theming looks really fun for little ones.
Have you heard of
Disney's Minnie Van Service? Minnie Vans are the cutest and most convenient way to travel around the Walt Disney World Resort. My family often uses Minnie Vans to get to dining reservations at different Disney Resort hotels. Each Minnie Van is equipped with two convertible car seats. Isn't that awesome?
I hope this was helpful, Linda. Please let us know if you have any additional questions about your Disney vacation!
