Hello, Dana! Welcome aboard planDisney. I'm happy to have you sail to us with your question.
With a Disney Cruise on your horizon, adventure is coming your way! I'd be happy to help you feel prepared as you plan your transportation logistics. If you'll be sailing from Port Canaveral, the airport I recommend is Orlando International Airport (MCO). For an additional fee, Disney Cruise Line offers ground transportation from Orlando International Airport to Port Canaveral. This is an extremely convenient way to leave the driving to Disney and arrive refreshed and ready to sail away!
If your cruise does not depart from Port Canaveral, the
Disney Cruise Line website's ground transportation page has all of the details you'll need. This page provides a wealth of knowledge, including the suggested airports, flight arrival times for embarkation day, and the earliest flight departure times for disembarkation day. It also provides additional details about ground transfers and hotel stays.
If you'd like to add ground transfers or hotel stays to your reservation, you can
call Disney Cruise Line for assistance. The friendly agents are ready to help you at every step of the planning process. My pals and I are here to help, too, so if you have additional questions, please return and ask. We'll do our best to assist!
One last tip, Dana... be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. From home, you can count down to the big day within the app in a fun, character-filled way. You can also
book cruise activities and check in for your sailing, too. Once onboard, the Navigator app will point your compass to everything that is happening onboard. The Daily Activity Schedule will outline where and when you can catch a movie, join a trivia game, greet your favorite Disney Characters, and more. It's going to be nonstop fun!
Have a magical vacation,
Adrianna
