Hello Suzanne,
You have come to the right place! Most of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel believe that you are never too young for Walt Disney World. My children all began going to this magical place at three years and younger. While she may not remember much later in life, I still think it is worth it to you to enjoy those amazing moments experiencing all the wonder and delight through her eyes.
In order to start planning a Walt Disney World trip, I suggest visiting the
official site for those traveling specifically with toddlers and preschoolers. This page will give you lots of great information and tips, including sample itineraries to make the most of your time with those precious little ones. You will be surprised how much you can do and see even with the tiniest of travelers.
I highly suggest celebrating her milestone birthday with a
character meal. My favorites for that age are Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom, Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort or Disney Jr. Play 'n' Dine at Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Advanced dining reservations can be made by calling (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463). Be sure to let the cast member making the reservation know you are celebrating a birthday so they can make the notation.
Lastly, please know that
Baby Care Centers are located in each of the four theme parks. These offer a quiet refuge from the hustle and bustle of the parks to change diapers or simply get some quiet time if she gets overwhelmed. Watch the attached video for more information.
I really hope you chose to bring her for her birthday. The memories you make will last a lifetime.
