What is your best advice before I go to Disney?

I love a simple question such as this!  I feel the best advice to any person planning a Disney trip is to go prepared knowing the layout of the parks, understanding what is in each park, and having a general plan for your itinerary. Dining reservations should be made ahead of time and as soon as you can plan since many of the popular ones book up quickly.  You can do all this from the Disney website, www.disneyworld.com.

Read about all the activities offered beyond the parks such as Downtown Disney and the recreation.  There is so much more then just a mouse although he has had his hand in everything and that is what makes it all so special!

Do NOT try to do it all. Pick and choose your attractions and entertainment opportunities and prioritize them.  If you don't get to every spot in a park it is ok....Disney World is not going away and the next time you return there will be even more fun things to experience!  Relax and enjoy and although you have a plan don't be afraid to change or alter it during your trip. I see so many people on Main Street looking around and not having a clue and then I see so many others who are rushing to their next event because it is in the itinerary. Ok, my secret is that I was once this....in fact my family used to kid me that if a bathroom break wasn't on the schedule they couldn't stop!  I learned the hard way and now I relax and enjoy and I see far more then I used to see and am experiencing much more of the magic!
