What are the best activities and rides for a two year old? We will be visiting in late September and staying in the cabins at Fort Wilderness Lodge.

    Hello Erin,

September is such a beautiful month to visit Walt Disney World Resort. Your family will have a wonderful time experiencing the joy of fall all through the theme parks and resorts.

My favorite go-to when planning for a little one is the Preschool Parents' Guide. It's full of useful information including a list of attractions that your 2-year-old may adore. At that age my kiddos loved spending time in Magic Kingdom Park. They couldn't get enough of rides like "it's a small world," or Dumbo the Flying Elephant. They weren't too sure about meeting with characters yet, but we found that they did warm up to them over a delicious breakfast with the cuddly Pooh and friends at The Crystal Palace.

Enjoy your fairy tale adventure, Erin, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Colorado

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
