Hiya, Michelle! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help in planning your family vacation! There are a few fun places to send your tyke so they can play and you can relax!
I’d like to recommend 3 different child care centers that my son goes nuts for. The first is located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and services the Yacht Club and Boardwalk, too. Called the
Sandcastle Club, this center serves ages 3-12 and costs $55 for the evening. You’ll be able to drop your child off around 4pm, order them dinner (included in the cost) and they will play, learn, create and meet Disney friends!
Much like the Sandcastle Club,
Simba’s Cubhouse is located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Follow the Zebra Trail by the Uzima Pool to find it. Simba’s has an hourly rate instead of a flat fee structure, and if you are dining at Boma, Jiko or Sanaa you can receive the first hour of childcare free when you show your receipt! Snacks and meals are served, and there’s lots of fun to be had.
My favorite is
Lilo’s Playhouse, a fully themed play experience for kids age 3-12, with the same fee structure as Sandcastle Club. Each center is developed to engage children's imaginations, with fun themes including Disney movies, characters, dance parties and education. I personally wrote an entire review of this place, it made me so excited! Lilo’s is handy if you are staying anywhere on the monorail line, such as Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the Grand Floridian, as well as Lilo’s home turf, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. I hope your family has a fun and relaxing vacation! ~ Lindsey P.
