Besides minimum age, are there any other requirements for people that want to do the Wild Africa Trek ? Thanks !

    Hi Scott ~

The Wild Africa Trek is one of my favorite special experiences at Disney World. It involves a bit more physical activity than some of the other tours.

In addition to Guests being at least 8 years old, they must also be at least 48 inches (122 cm) tall.  Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult participating in the same tour who is at least 18 years old or older.

Participants on the Wild Africa Trek must weigh between 45 and 300 lbs with the harness gear on.  They do have different sizes of safety harnesses but they may not be able to accommodate all body shapes or sizes so that may prevent some Guests from participating.  Guests with any concerns should ask the Cast Members when calling to book the tour.

The link shown above lists some Warnings that all Guests who are considering this tour should read carefully.  It also gives some information regarding physical stamina and being able to physically navigate the tour which everyone should take into consideration.

Tours can be booked beginning 180 days prior to your trip by calling 407-WDW-TOUR.  The Wild Africa Trek is an incredible experience and I highly recommend it.
