Hi, Sasha!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your great question. There are many benefits to staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels! My favorite is Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. It exemplifies the Craftsman-style era with grand architecture and décor, it’s the closest to the theme parks, and it even features a private entrance into Disney California Adventure Park. You can be in your hotel room one minute and enjoying one of the parks less than five minutes later!
If you stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you’ll never have to leave the magic during your visit thanks to Disney’s exemplary customer service and attention to theming and details. Plus, you’ll be entitled to Extra Magic Hours so you can make the most of your time in the parks. If you’re traveling with children, being close to the theme parks and the Downtown Disney District is a huge benefit. Trips back to the hotel room for a nap or change of clothes are a snap when you are staying just a few steps away.
As a Guest of the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort, you can also participate in a variety of special experiences, such as seasonal outdoor pilates classes or an early-morning power walk through Disney California Adventure Park. Each hotel has a whimsically themed pool area, great dining choices, and extra recreation areas for kids.
I hope this helps, Sasha. Please feel free to ask me more questions as your planning continues!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
