Besides breakfast what would be the reason to choose to pay $79 for the early magical Toy Story event vs just going to Hollywood for the extra magic hours?

Hello Cindy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Whether you choose to visit Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park during Extra Magic Hours, Disney Early Morning Magic - Toy Story Land or during regularly scheduled Theme Park Hours, you have to experience all of the attractions, characters, and dining in Andy's Backyard.

Extra Magic Hours is a benefit to Guests staying at a Disney Resort and as such, many Guests take advantage of this early time to experience the magic of Toy Story Land. While it is often less crowded at Extra Magic Hours than during regularly scheduled Theme Park Hours, lines for attractions (especially Slinky Dog Dash) can still become quite long minutes after Extra Magic Hours begins.

Since Early Morning Magic - Toy Story Land is a Special Event, there is a cap on how many guests are allowed to enjoy the experience and the attractions should be easier to experience during the Special Event. Many Guests are able to experience all that Toy Story Land has to offer during the Special Event, while I have personally been unable to do so using strictly the time allotted for Extra Magic Hours.

The cost is an issue for my wanting to partake in the Special Event, but I would recommend it for Guests staying off property for the extra time, the limited number of Guests and the delicious breakfast if the cost was not an issue.

    Have a Magical Visit!
