Hi Bernie! Staying at ASMu Family Suite Sept/2010, but also have family staying there in a regular, preferred room. Are there any rooms close to the Fam Suites? Any particular floor, bldg or side to request? Want to be as close as possible - Thanks!

    Hi Kelly!

Thank you for sending me this question directly.  I really enjoy answering guest questions!

The All Star Family Suites are located in the Jazz and Calypso buildings at the All-Star Music Resort.  The Calypso buildings (1 and 10) are closest to Melody Hall, where the food court, lobby, and bus stop are located.  The Jazz Inn buildings are the second closet buildings to the food court and surround the piano pool.

I recommend putting in a room request for both rooms to be located in Building 1 and to state that you are trying to keep both rooms close together, preferably in the same building and on the same floor.  When you get to the resort for check-in, be sure to tell the Cast Member there as well.  It's been my experience that Cast Members will do everything they can if possible.  However, remember that room requests are just that, a "request"; they can not be guaranteed.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
