Bernie, I read you aren't very fond of CS. We have stayed twice at Pop, per your recommendations but have res for CS in December for queen beds. We will have our own car and do plan to use it and not use Disney's transportation. Any thing else to consider?

    Hi Kristi!

It is true!  I'm not a huge fan of Coronado Springs.  I think the resort is too large, just as is the case at Fort Wilderness and the Caribbean Beach Resort.  However, if you have your own car then you will be fine!  The theming is nice and I know many guests who absolutely love the resort.  It does have an incredible pool, so if it's not too cold, you should definitely check it out!

The first time you head to the foot court at Coronado Springs, be sure to ask a Disney Cast Member how the process works.  I think it's fine and I enjoy eating there, but I know a lot of guests don't because they don't like how you order and pay for food, etc.  However, it's pretty straight forward once you get the hang of it.

Have a magical time at Walt Disney World and be sure to consider attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party if you are going to be there on one of the nights it is being offered.  It's a lot of fun and will definitely get everybody in the holiday spirit!
