Bernie, planning to arrive use ME to go to WL to check-in; then go to AK using Disney trans. Leave AK to go back to WL to get showered and dressed for dinner @ V&A. Either limo, taxi, or Disney trans. to V&A. How much time should we leave from AK t

    Hi Nicholas!

Thank you for sending me this question directly.  I really appreciate it.  Buses from Disney's Animal Kingdom generally run about every 20 minutes and I would reserve 15 to 20 minutes for the trip back to the Wilderness Lodge; sometimes the bus will stop at Fort Wilderness first (because those two resorts sometimes share buses) so to be safe go with 20 minutes for the trip.

The easiest and fastest way to get from the Wilderness Lodge to the Grand Floridian is a taxi and if you go that route, the trip will take about 5 minutes.  Using Disney transportation, you would take the boat from the Wilderness Lodge to the Contemporary and from the Contemporary take the monorail to the Grand Floridian.  I would budget 25 min to 30 minutes for the trip via Disney transportation not including waiting for the boat to the Contemporary in the first place.  If you go this route, make sure that the boat is going to the Contemporary after coming to the Wilderness Lodge; sometimes it will go to Fort Wilderness first and that will make the trip even longer.  If the boat is headed to Fort Wilderness first then catch the boat to the Magic Kingdom instead and then get on the Resort Monorail right outside the theme park.

I hope this helps!  Have a fabulous dinner.  It is awesome!  Please write back with more questions!
