Bernie, noticed you had suggested POP to many people. Staying at POP in 45 days, was wondering if they have any kids activities and/or games to play at hotel during the day for some down time from park. DS9 DD5. Thanks a bunch.

    Hi Melissa!

Thank you for sending me this question directly.  Most of the activities center around the three great pools at Pop Century.  The 60's Hippy Dippy Pool is the main pool with 4 flower showers on the pool deck that spray water into the pool.  There are also two quiet pools at Pop Century:  the Bowling Pin Pool and the Computer Pool.  There's also a children's pool and a playground.

The arcade in the main building is relatively large and has video and pinball games.  Also the theming of Pop Century, with the larger than life icons, will usually delight young guests, such as your 5 year old.

Pop Century is my favorite Value Resort because I love the food court and the fact that the buses go to and from the resort hotel without stopping anywhere else.  If you are looking for more structured activities, then I recommend staying at a Moderate or Deluxe Resort.  My favorite Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside and the 'Ol Man Island section of that resort is great for children.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions.
