Hi Bernie! I know that you have stayed @ WL so I thought that you could help us. We have 8:00am appt for BBB on 2/19 and a CP ADR for 8:05am on 2/20. Will the boats be running if not how will we make it to our ADR? We do have a car. What would you do?

    Hi Kaylene!

Thanks for sending me this question directly.  I really appreciate it!

The small boat from the Wilderness Lodge that runs to the Contemporary Resort and Fort Wilderness typically starts running at about 6:45 am.  However, the direct boat to the Magic Kingdom typically doesn't start running until about an hour before the park opens.  Thus the easiest way to get to both of your reservations on time will be to take the small boat to the Contemporary Resort and then make the 10 minute walk to the Magic Kingdom. Boats run about every 15 to 20 minutes in the morning and I would do that rather than drive my own car; also note that sometimes the boat to the Magic Kingdom starts running earlier, especially during busy holiday periods.  I suggest going down to the boat launch no later than 7 am for both appointments.

The Wilderness Lodge is a wonderful resort.  I definitely recommend having dinner one night at the Whispering Canyon Cafe.  It is one of the great family restaurants at Walt Disney World!
