Hi Bernie! My husband & I honeymooned at PORR in Jan '12 and loved it!! We are returning in Jan '13 for our anniv. We stayed at Magnolia mansion which was awesome, we thought this time maybe Alligator Bayou? Which is better? We don't have any kids. Thx

    Hi Allison!

If you don't need an elevator then I suggest staying in Alligator Bayou, which is my favorite part of Port Orleans Riverside.  However, it really comes down to personal preference.  I know panelists on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel who would give you opposite advice!

I love Alligator Bayou myself because I like the more rustic feel of the rooms, building, and grounds.  It also feels more cozy to me than the large manor houses, but I know that's just a feeling; both sides of the resort can accommodate a lot of guests.

I hope this helps!  I say give it a try since you have never tried it before!  Please write back with more questions!
