Hi Bernie! Your honest opinion please.....Late July or Late August to plan a trip? Done Jan, late May, Sept & Christmas previously. Getting harder to take trips during school year :( Thanks for your valued help!!!

    Hi Adelle!

Thank you for sending me this question directly.  I really appreciate it.  Please send me more!

We have the same problem in my family.  I would definitely pick late August over late July.  There isn't much difference in terms of the weather, but there is a significant difference in the crowds.  The large summer crowds start falling off in mid August and are definitely less in late August.  Just know that it is very hot and humid in July and August, even when compared to May and late September.  My family and I just visited Walt Disney World from August 17th to the 23rd and while we don't like going in the summer (we have done every summer month at Walt Disney World in recent years) we would definitely go again in late August instead of any other time in the summer except maybe for early June.

I hope this helps and thank you for the compliment!
