    Hi Bernie! I see you are fan WL, we are staying there in Aug & considering WC our 1st night for dinner. Do you think this is a good idea after a day of travel? Plan to arrive early AM & head to MK for few hours until ck in. DD are 4 & 11.Thank

    Hi Shannan!

    I'm a huge fan of the Wilderness Lodge.  It's my absolute favorite resort at Walt Disney World.  I think the Whispering Canyon Cafe is a good choice on any night.  It will definitely work on a day that you will already be tired (due to the travel) because it is more relaxing than running around a theme park!  My children, ages 12 and 7, absolutely love the Whispering Canyon Cafe.  Be sure to have your children ask for ketchup while visiting, and I recommend you insist on being served a large drink!
