Bernie since you are such an expert on WL, have some transportation ?s. What is the best way to get from the boardwalk back to WL late at night, What is the earliest transportation to MK for earliest CP breakfast, what is the best way to GF and how long?

    Hi Nicholas!

Thank you for sending me this question directly!

The best way to get from the Boardwalk back to the Wilderness Lodge late at night is to take a taxi from the Boardwalk.  You will find plenty of them waiting outside the hotel; just ask a Cast Member for one.  If you want to use Disney transportation then you first have to go to Downtown Disney or a theme park (if one is still open when you want to return to the Wilderness Lodge) and then transfer to a bus going to the Wilderness Lodge.

The boat to the Magic Kingdom will generally run early enough to make the first breakfast reservation in the theme park, but sometimes the schedule changes so definitely talk to a Cast Member the night before for your best option.  However, you really shouldn't have any problems using the boat unless the weather is really bad and in that case you will have to take a bus to the park.

To get to the Grand Floridian, you can take a taxi and get there in about 5 minutes.  Using Disney transportation, take a boat to the Contemporary or the Magic Kingdom and then take the Resort Monorail (not the Express Monorail) to the Grand Floridian.  I would plan on the trip using Disney transportation to take about 25 to 30 minutes just to be safe; sometimes the Resort Monorail has to stop for traffic (a monorail loading or unloading up ahead) on the monorail track for a few minutes.

Enjoy planning your magical Disney vacation, and please write back with more questions!
