Hi, Bernie. From everything I have seen, you are the SW Weekend expert. Do buses run early enough on SW Weekends to allow guests to arrive at HS before the Storm Trooper preshow? Do you suggest taking a taxi instead? Staying at POR. Tx in advance!

    Hi Karen!

Thank you for sending me this question directly!

Star Wars Weekend is a lot of fun.  You definitely want to arrive early to catch the Storm Troopers.  Also, be sure to watch the Hyperspace Hoopla!  It is a blast and definitely worth capturing on a video camera if you will have one with you!

You shouldn't have any problems.  I recommend getting out to the bus stop at Pop Century about 7:30.  That will ensure that you will get on an early bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Last year I stayed at Pop Century for Star Wars Weekend and had no problems using Disney buses to get me to the Studios in time.

By the way, if you have any children with you, you should consider signing them up for the Jedi Training Academy.  It is always a lot of fun, but especially so when the park is packed with Star Wars characters!

Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and please write back with more questions!
