    HI Bernie! Coming in 45 days, just read one of your answers re: Fantasmic Dining Package....do I understand correctly the reserved seats aren't really the 'best' seats in your opinion? Coming at an 'off' time, so wondering if we should use DDP elsewhere?

    Thanks for sending me this question directly.  I really appreciate it!

    Yes, I'm not a huge fan of the Fantasmic Dining Package except during the busier times of the year.  The reserved seats are to the right of center, and while you still have a great view of the show, the music is slightly off when you are not sitting right in the middle.  Add to that the fact that you still have to show up about 30 minutes before showtime when you are on the package compared to showing up about 45 minutes when you are not on the package.  I'd rather wait another 15 minutes and get "perfect" seats for the show.  Of course, Fantasmic is my favorite nighttime spectacular; other guests may prefer spending those 15 minutes elsewhere in the park.  It really is guest dependent a lot of times!
