    What are benefits of booking ground transportation through Disney Cruise Line from port to MCO airport? We would like to stay on the ship as long as we can since flight does not depart till later in a day.... do we get to choose time to get off?

    Thanks so much for sailing by!  One of the primary benefits of adding ground transfers to your Disney Cruise Line vacation departing from Port Canaveral is that upon arriving at Orlando International Airport, you can skip baggage claim and head directly to your motor coach and the port.  A Disney Cruise Line representative will collect your luggage and deliver it to your stateroom.  In addition, when you purchase ground transportation, you can make use of convenient onboard airline check-in on board, get your boarding passes, check your luggage for your return flight, skip luggage claim at the port terminal and bypass the airline check-in counter.  These are all major perks in my book!  Regarding departure time, all guests need to disembark by 9 am to allow the crew to prepare for the next group of passengers awaiting their magical vacation.
