Is there a benefit to staying at Polynesian Villas or being a Disney Visa cardholder when it comes to the lightsabers from Savi’s? We’re deciding what time of day to build them, we dont want to carry them around all day bc 2 of our builders are very young!

Bright Suns, Janet! It’s great to see you hEAR at planDisney, gathering the parts and getting ready to construct your out-of-this-world day at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Janet, while my Mouseketeers are now eight and nine, I clearly remember them toddling through Disney’s Hollywood Studios when my only free hand was needed to push the stroller, so I appreciate this question!

Janet, currently as the Walt Disney World Resort is operating in a state of phased reopening, Resort Hotel delivery of in-park purchases is on pause. Unfortunately this does mean that those custom lightsabers are not able to be Magically transported back to Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows but Janet, I can feel that the Force is strong in your family and you will push through this obstacle. As a member of the Rebellion, I recommend making reservations as late in the day as possible to cut down on your carrying time or perhaps just before lunch if you’re planning a midday rest back at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

Janet, before you begin training to defeat the Dark Side, make sure to read the Know Before You Go section that provides all the needed details about Savi’s Workshop. If after your build, you find your strength has been weakened, make sure to stop by the Milk Stand where, like Luke Skywalker, my younglings are always rejuvenated by the blue and green options!

Janet, best wishes to you and your padawans as you channel your inner Jedi. I hope you'll come on back to planDisney with any other questions you might have.

May the Force Be With You,
