    What is the benefit of resort on-line check-in?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jami!

    Online Resort Check-In allows you to begin your Walt Disney World Resort hotel check-in process 60 days before you arrive on property. For me, the benefit of completing this online process is that it reduces my wait time when I arrive at my Resort hotel. All of the information I would typically provide at the Front Desk during regular check-in  (credit card for charges, room requests, arrival and departure times) can now be taken care of at my convenience during online check-in. Providing an arrival time also helps the Resort hotel know when to expect you so they can do their best to have your resort room ready. Once you arrive, you will find a designated Online Check-in area where you can pick up an arrival packet full of valuable information about your stay. 

    Another benefit to online check-in is the new Direct-to-Room service. Guests will receive a text message indicating their resort room is ready and can proceed directly to their room. Therefore, bypassing the need to stop at the Front Desk. What a time saver! Keep in mind that they are still working out the kinks of this new system so there are times this service may be unavailable or subject to change without notice.
