    what is the benefit to the dining plans?

    Hi Richard!

    One of the benefits of the dining plan is that you have most of your meals paid for in advance which can really help when budgeting for your vacation. While there are things not included on the dining plan (for example: alcohol and gratuities), it almost makes your vacation package all-inclusive.

    Another nice thing about the dining plan is that you can order anything on the menu at any restaraunt that accepts the plan, and most restaurants do accept the plan. Depending on which restaraunts you visit and what you order, the actual cost of your meal could end up being far more than what you paid for the plan. Disney estimates that you can save about 30% off of your dining by purchasing the regular dining plan.

    There are three different dining plans to choose from which depending on what suits your needs. However, I know some people who dislike using the plan and prefer to pay as they go. You should do whatever feels comfortable to you.
