    Is there any benefit to buying Genie+ at the time of purchasing your tickets online vs waiting to purchase Genie+ once in the parks?

    There isn't a benefit to purchasing Disney Genie+ at the time of purchasing your tickets versus waiting until you have entered the parks, besides having that part of the planning done. At Disneyland Resort, you cannot start using Disney Genie+ until you have been scanned into your first park of the day. So I recommend being there for rope drop so you can be scanned in and make that first selection if knocking out as many attractions as you can is a priority. The first few hours of park opening are prime time to enjoy quite a few attractions before the crowds fully roll in. 

    Can I share a Disney Genie+ pro tip with you? If possible, I like to link all the tickets in my party into one Disney account. This allows you to make Lightning Lane selections must faster and easier than everyone logging in at the same time on their app to try to get the same return time. It can be done, as we did this a few days ago with a party of 8. I just prefer to do it the first way. 

    Also, don't forget that Disney Genie+ at Disneyland Resort includes unlimited digital PhotoPass photo downloads! So be sure to take pit stops and strike your best pose with as many PhotoPass Photographers as you can find. Why not get a head start on your holiday card photo?!
