Welcome to planDisney, Natoshia! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. With your trip coming up next month, it's a great idea to start thinking about making the most of your time in the parks. Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, planning for wait times is always a smart move.
Since your son is approved for
Disability Access Service (DAS), you'll already have access to a helpful tool to manage wait times by bypassing the standby queue. DAS works by allowing your son and up to 3 additional guests in his DAS party to request a return time for an attraction based on the current standby wait. That return time allows you to enjoy other parts of the park while waiting outside the line, and then you'll enter through the
Lightning Lane when it's time to ride.
That said, DAS and Lightning Lane Multi Pass serve different purposes and function a bit differently. DAS is not intended to help you experience more
attractions in a shorter time, it's designed to provide accessibility for guests who cannot wait in a traditional standby queue. Lightning Lane Multi Pass, on the other hand, is a paid service that helps any guest minimize their time in line and pack more attractions into their day.
So, if your main goal is to maximize your time and do as many rides as possible, purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass might still be a worthwhile option, especially if you want to ride attractions in between DAS return times. It's not required, but it can definitely enhance your day!
I hope this answers your question, Natoshia, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
