Hello Corinne!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question!
I am going to share with you the experience that I have with my 7-year-old daughter. During our first visit when she was younger, we decided to purchase regular theme park admission because we felt that there was so much to see and do at each park that it would be very hard to park hop. Now that we have visited a few times, we purchase Park Hopper option and visit one park in the morning, go back to our Disney Resort hotel for a pool break in the afternoon, and return to a different theme park in the evening. There is complimentary transformation between all four theme parks, so moving around is easey, but you must plan travel time between destinations.
If this is the first time you are visiting with your kids, then I believe you should reconsider if
Park Hopper is going to be the ideal option for you and your family. In addition, my daughter tires easily, so I always rent a
stroller from one of Disney Featured Providers like Kingdom Strollers, this way she can rest a little bit while we are touring the parks if she gets too tired, and we can use the stroller throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, including while enjoying
complimentary transportation. I honestly feel that visiting one park each day, and giving kids rest breaks during the day is a great way to avoid stress and make the most of your visit.
I hope this helps you while planning, Corinne! Please stop by real soon with more questions.
Best Disney wishes,
Thiana
