Hello from below-0 Iowa! I am so excited to be visiting WDW with my 5-year-old granddaughter January 29 - February 3, 2014. I purchased tickets including the Water Parks, and am now wondering if I should remove that option. Your advice?

    Hi Ann!

I hope you're staying nice and warm!  How wonderful to be looking forward to a vacation at Walt Disney World!  The water parks are a great place to relax and splash around, but right now it's pretty chilly in Florida (by Florida standards), but you can bet that they'll be seeing warmer weather very soon!

If another front manages to push through, then you'll see temperatures drop again.  If not, you can expect days with highs in the upper 70s and even 80s, but in the end, it's all up to mother nature.

I'd look and see how much time you're actually planning on spending at the water parks and go from there.  Also, keep in mind that Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is currently closed for refurbishment at this time.  Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is available for guests wishing to visit one of the water parks.

    Have a magical vacation!
